Berimbau - is a central instrument at the roda of Capoeira,

he determines the style of the game at the roda and is the

main tool in the roda of capoeira.

Originated in Africa, also known as

"Aorokongo".
There are 3 different types

of berimbau that used at capoeira roda:

"Gonga" - berimbau with a big Cabeza and a thick tone, usually given by the Director of the roda and marks the head of the roda .

"medio" - berimbau with medium Cabeza,his sound between the "gonga" and "viola" .

"Viola" - berimbau with small Cabeza, producing the sound thin, this berimbau uses
mostly for improvisations.
